Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I order my slideshow?

1. View our Packages to determine which package works best for your special occasion.

2. Gather your photographs (digital are preferred) and order them how you would like them to appear in the slideshow. Write down the photo order to send to us.

3. Choose appropriate music.  If you do not own the music, I can purchased it for you.

4. Complete our order form.  Our design consultant will contact you to discuss the details of your slideshow and how to send the material to us.

5. Send your materials to us and a deposit equal to 50% of the total slideshow project price. We accept checks, money orders or credit cards. Credit cards are accepted through PayPal- We will send you an invoice via e-mail- you do not need a PayPal account.

6. SlideShow Memories will work on your slideshow and contact you, via e-mail, to preview your slideshow.

   • You will have the opportunity to provide feedback to us before we create the final product.  We will then let you preview the updated slideshow if you request it.

   • You can make any necessary updates to your order such as ordering additional DVD copies.

7. Once you approve the slideshow,  we will send you a final invoice which will include shipping and handling charges.  This is when you will send us the final payment.

8. Your DVD Slideshow will be sent to you with a  personalized  DVD label and case along with your original material sent to us.  If we had to purchase any music on your behalf, you will also get a copy of the music on CD.

Can I use copyrighted music with my slideshow?

• If you own the original recording, under the copyright laws, you are entitled to use the music in your slideshow for personal uses.

• If you do not own the original recordings, it can be purchased online.  We can do that for you upon request and will send you a CD with the music on it.  The actual cost will be added to your order. Songs typically cost $1.00 from i-Tunes or other online music services.

What is the slideshow preview?

• We will send you an e-mail with an internet link to preview your slideshow.  You can view it and provide us with any feedback if necessary. (Active X  plug-ins are required.  If you can view our samples, you should be able to view the slideshow preview)

• After you have approved the slideshow preview, we will finalize the slideshow and ship out your final product within 2-3 business days after final payment is received.

How long does it take to create my DVD slideshow?

• 1-2 weeks, from when we receive your materials, is our average time for you to receive your completed DVD Slideshow.  We usually ship about 2-3 business days after final payment is received (payments by check must clear prior to shipping).  Additional time would be needed if photos must be scanned or organized.

What are your shipping options?

• We use all major shipping services- United States Postal service, FedEx, UPS, DHL.

• All packages are tracked with delivery confirmations.

• Shipping and handling charges will be included on the final invoice.

• Expedited shipping is also available.  Contact us for details.

Can you work with professional photographers?

• We can work with your professional photographer and the photographs they take.  They must contact us to work out the details regarding copyrights.
